Where did all the dinosaurs go?
Makes me kinda sad to think they’re not here anymore.
I would have loved to see a stegosaurus,
or a brontosaurus, or a T-rex,
or a triceratops.

I would have run and jumped and played with them.
Sure, some of theme would have been ferocious,
but some of them might have been friendly
and maybe curious about me.

Sometimes I think I can hear them outside
and, thanks to all the scientists,
I kinda know what they look like —
and I can roar and be one of them if I want to
and that’s pretty great.

Where did all the dinosaurs go?
I guess we’ll all just have to wonder.
I sure wonder —
But it’s okay, they were here —
and so am I.
So, maybe, I’ll be
a paleontologist.
